Nancy Fisk

Administration/Graphic Design/Web design/Contributions

About/Saved:

I was brought up in Southwest Louisiana, a Catholic, in a broken home. Although I excelled in school, sports, and was crowned queen on several occasions I had a tremendously low self-esteem. While in college I got saved in 1982 at a Christian concert on campus and I haven't turned back since. Once you become a child of God, renew your mind with the Word (Romans 12:2), and begin to realize who you really are in Christ, your life is never the same!

Family:

I married in 1983 and we have three beautiful, intelligent daughters. We moved to Birmingham in 2001 and I have been actively working in ministry since 2004.

Random Facts:

A few things you may not know about me: I enjoy decorating and being creative; I require "beach therapy;" and I'm a chocoholic—non-recovering. And here is a weird, random one: I know how to hypnotize a chicken—What?

Favorite Scripture:

One of my favorite scriptures is Psalm 103:2-5 (I replaced the "you" and "your," with "me" and "my").

Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all my iniquities, Who heals all my diseases, Who redeems my life from destruction, Who crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies my mouth with good things, so that my youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Yes, we have a good God! And yes, He has great benefits!
